In the primary and lower secondary schools of the Italian areas where the LIFE Egyptian vulture project is carried out, educational activities are underway and hundreds of students are involved.
The interventions are coordinated by expert personnel and dedicated to promoting the knowledge and importance of the conservation of the Egyptian vulture and, more generally, of birds of prey.
At the end of the educational path, in the project areas located in Basilicata, Calabria and Sicily, where the activities are carried out by Federparchi Europarc Italia, the “Discovering the Egyptian vulture” competition was launched and will end by June 2023.
Classes will be able to join until October 31, 2022.
Student will have to produce a graphic elaborate (drawing, collage, etc.) dedicated to the Egyptian vulture and the scavenger birds of prey. The best works will be awarded.
