The final conference of the LIFE Egyptian vulture project will be held in Matera from 19 to 21 September 2023. There will be two days of conference sessions and an inspection day in the project areas.
The topics addressed at the conference will be the following: actions and results of the LIFE Egyptian vulture project; conservation status of the Egyptian vulture in Europe; captive breeding and release programmes; role of supplementary feeding stations; threats to the conservation of the species and their mitigation.
The presentations will be given by speakers from Italy, Spain, Portugal, Bulgaria, Israel, Great Britain and Greece. The event programme and registration links will be published by the end of August 2023.
